Since November 16 changes and additions to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dd. April 18, 2003 №14 "About the establishment of tariff preferences" come into effect(approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dd. 3.11.2004 №12). According to the new wording of the document, the list of developing countries (territories) obtaining tariff references by means of reduction of rates of duties by 25% is changed. In particular, tariff references in respect of the Republic of Albania, the Republic of Malta, Romania are reversed. The term of custom privileges regarding some countries that earlier obtained preference regime is prolonged (it concerns, in particular, Argentina, Brazil, Gabon, Iraq, Iran, Qatar, Cuba, Malaysia, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Seyshelles, Singapore, Turkey). Apart from that, the South African Republic is included into the list of the countries obtaining preference regime.
